About Me

Hi, I’m Angy! 

I’m a 25-year-old jewelry designer and maker. My journey began in 2023 when I took an introduction to gemology course and completely fell in love with the jewelry community and the art behind it, from picking the gemstones and metals to casting and metalsmithing.

My journey goes back even further. I received my jewelry bench in 2020 and officially began working from my first studio in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2025, beginning my hands-on journey in wax and silver. What started as curiosity slowly turned into commitment. Since then, I’ve dedicated countless hours to learning, practicing, and refining my craft, both on my own and alongside others.

This community has brought me opportunities to be part of projects like the volunteer pins at the Desert Botanical Garden. Each experience has shaped me in ways I never expected.

In just over a year of collaborating and creating alongside others, I’ve learned so much. It has truly been a blessing. And even though this chapter is still young, I’m excited to continue growing for many years to come.

As a proud Latina-owned business, my inspiration runs deep. I grew up watching my father dedicate his life to this art. His passion, discipline, and love for jewelry continue to guide and motivate me every day

I’ve learned that everyone starts somewhere. I’ve met so many talented, generous people who encouraged me when I was just beginning. That’s why I choose to document and share my journey because if I can motivate even one person who dreams of metalsmithing or carving wax for the first time, it’s worth it. If you’re just starting, I was once you.

Trusting The Process

This bench wasn’t built overnight. I began with the essentials and slowly added what I needed as I grew. Jewelry has taught me that everything is a process — you can’t rush skill, and you can’t rush timing. I’m grateful to have built this studio one step at a time.
